The Berlin Modernism housing estates are listed as a Unesco World Heritage site since 2008. Guided architecture tours of three of the six housing estates (Hufeisensiedlung, Ringsiedlung, Weiße Stadt) built between 1913 and 1934 showcase the actors - architects, constructors, inhabitants, and the social an urban context of their creation. The tours have taken place during the European Heritage Days in 2016, 2017 and 2019. They focus on the building history, the past and actual social aspects as well as the architectural and chromatic bias of the dwellings.
